January 2012 saw Bristol Batteries Ltd appointed as the exclusive distributor in the South-West for the globally recognised Midtronics Battery & Diagnostic testing equipment. As well as equipping our own branches with the devices, Bristol Batteries is also stocking the products for sale into many different types of application from workshops & garages, car dealerships & showrooms, plus electrical wholesalers & battery manufacturers.
Midtronics proudly states on its website that their programs can be found in almost every OEM in the world including giants such as Honda, Mistsubishi & NASCAR. In the UK specifically the devices are carried on all AA & RAC roadside assistance vans. The benefits are plentiful with improved customer service, a decrease in Warranty claims resulting in lower operating costs, as well as being a safe, fast & accurate way to report Battery or electrical problems.
The Midtronics equipment uses patented conductance technology to measure the performance of a battery in many different states of charge. With over 80 patents in place the Midtronics products are superior in their field, indeed their reporting is considered the world-recognised standard for all battery testing.
